We have finally landed
After many months of samples, planning, trips, sourcing the right suppliers and building relationships, coupled with lots of passion and hard work, we are very excited to finally be able to share our love for our ethnic and exotic artisanal furniture and homeware with others.
It all started after trips to India and Indonesia, returning home and feeling like something was missing. We longed to be surrounded by the colours, patterns and textures which gave us a feeling of richness, authenticity and a celebration of life. We wanted to share this love and passion with those around us with the artisanal pieces, which for us, tell a story and have a feeling of containing a real soul of these beautiful and fascinating origins.
Particularly capturing our hearts and attention are the ancient traditional art forms used to make many of our products in these places. Often the skills are lovingly past down from generation to generation, from father to son or mother to daughter and are native to the areas they come from. The more we experienced, saw and learned about them, the more we wanted to focus on making these beauties accessible to all. Often these products are made in villages and places which are not easily assessable.
Hand loomed dhurries, Kantha stitched quilts, block printing, indigo dye, bali keben making are a few of our favourite traditional processes and products we feature. Each piece made by hand and each piece unique. Welcome to the journey, we are very excited to share it with you all <3
